Retired employees of cargo carriers like FedEx and UPS are frequently eligible for interline cruise rates on many cruise lines, under the same reciprocity that covers passenger airline retirees. Participation and terms still vary by cruise line, which is where a specialist matters most.

How to actually check

Start with your former carrier's retiree benefits portal or HR retiree services line — eligibility terms are set by the airline, not the cruise line. From there, an interline specialist can verify which cruise lines will honor that eligibility and at what rate, since booking interline isn't the same as booking through a general consumer site like Expedia.
